English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
A Committee – A Community
What is ELAC?
The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is our site-level parent and staff committee focused on supporting students who are learning English. ELAC is a place to:
Connect with other families and school staff
Learn about Joe Walker’s English Learner (EL) program and services
Share feedback and help guide site decisions that affect EL students
Find resources, trainings, and ways to get involved
If you have a student who is an English Learner—or you just want to support our EL community—you are welcome!
